Ferrari has come a long way since its creation in 1929 in Maranello, Italy. That's our first thought upon seeing the Ferrari Enzo, one of the fastest, and most beautiful sport cars; scratch that, supercars in the world. We're stunned at this car's speed. It tops out at a solid 226 mph and has a quarter mile time of only 11 seconds (while finishing at 136 mph). The Ferrari Enzo has a 0-to-60 time of just 3.14 seconds, which isn't quite as fast as the Bugatti Veyron at 2.4 seconds, or the SSC Aero at 2.7 seconds, but the Ferrari Enzo is still respectable.
The Ferrari Enzo sports a 12 cylinder, rear-placed engine (mid engine). This car has a semi-automatic transmission and allows the driver to shift using paddle shifters adjacent to the steering wheel. The Ferrari Enzo packs 660 horsepower at 7800 rpm. That's well shy of the Bugatti Veyron's 1001 horsepower or the SSC Ultimate Aero's 1183 horsepower, but we can’t complain.
